Jimmy Buffett "Livecast" at the Stardust Drive-In

Legendary rock musician Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers will be performing in a first of its kind ‘Live At The Drive-In’ concert on Thursday, June 19. The concert will be livecast via satellite transmission from the Coyote Drive-In, located in Fort Worth, Texas, exclusively to dozens of select drive-in theatre sites across the United States, including middle Tennessee's Stardust Drive-In Theatre located just 35 minutes from Nashville in Watertown, TN.

With technological advancements in digital projection and satellite delivery, properly equipped drive-in theatres are now capable of presenting a live concert performance in high definition with ultra bright light output on outdoor screens a hundred feet wide, or larger. CD quality sound is delivered to each vehicle using high fidelity FM broadcast.

With popular hit songs such as ‘Margaritaville,’ ‘Cheeseburger In Paradise,’ and ‘Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes,’ singer Jimmy Buffett has amassed legions of dedicated fans worldwide, commonly referred to as “Parrotheads.” His musical style, described as “gulf and western,” reflects a combination of Caribbean themed rock with country and western along with folk music influences.



  
Pre-sale ticketing and admission policies:

The gate will open at 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 19th

  • The ticket cost is $18 per person. All pre-sale tickets are for ONE parking space, and include a minimum of two general admission tickets for a total of $36 per vehicle. Additional tickets for extra persons in each vehicle may be purchased upon arrival on the date of the event. Due to limited parking availability, single person admission tickets will not be offered via pre-sale. Individual admission tickets for $18 each will only be sold on the date of the event, subject to availability.

  • We are only offering pre-sale tickets by the parking space instead of individual tickets. This way we can accurately monitor the number of parking spaces we have available, thereby avoiding over-selling our parking lots, since we cannot verify by individual tickets how many people will be occupying each vehicle with advance ticket sales. Parking space is limited to the first 400 vehicles.

  • Upon arrival on the day of the event, you must present the credit card at the ticket office which was used to purchase your online pre-sale ticket for sale verification. An e-mail confirmation of your order will be also sent to your email address. A printout of this email can also be used for sale verification. Presale tickets purchased online cannot be refunded or exchanged.

  • All vehicles will be subject to inspection at the entrance, in order to accurately verify the number of occupants, including covered pickup beds and trunk space. Undeclared occupants concealed inside trunk space will be charged double the regular admission fee. 

  • The event will be held rain or shine. No rain checks or refunds will be issued due to poor weather conditions.

  • You must have a working FM Radio to hear the concert sound.

  • Bring Lawn Chairs, blankets, etc.  Enjoy our Tennessee Summer nights!

  • Once any vehicle has entered the drive-in, re-entry will not be permitted. 

  • NO overnight camping will be permitted.

  • Tailgating will be permitted, however NO grilling or cooking is allowed on drive-in property. 

  •  Outside food and beverages are prohibited without the purchase of a Food & Beverage Permit at the Purchase price for the permit is a mere $6.00 per vehicle.   As per conditions of the permit, you may not share food or drink with persons who came in other vehicles.  The permit MUST be purchased as you enter the theatre, and cannot be purchased once you are admitted.  If you choose not to purchase an "Outside Food & Beverage Permit", you will have the option to dispose of your food in the trash cans at the box-office gates, or leave the facility.  Patrons with outside food and beverages at their vehicles without a permit, will be asked to leave the facility - without a refund.  THIS POLICY WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

  • While we do offer this option above,  we strongly encourage everyone to support our facilities by purchasing food and beverages at the Stardust Kitchen & Concessions.   Without your support at our concession stand, the drive-in will not be able to continue to exist for future generations to enjoy!

  • ALCOHOL - During normal theatre operations, the Stardust Drive-In strictly forbids any and all types of alcoholic beverages - However, during "Livecast" concert events, patrons may feel free to BYOB with the purchase of a $6.00 "Outside Food & Beverage" Permit.  We kindly ask that all of our "Livecast" patrons drink and act responsibly. Please do not drink and drive.


In the event of cancellation by artist or promoter, refunds for tickets purchased "on-line" will be refunded by Frontgate Tickets.  Additional tickets purchased at the Stardust boxoffice the day of the event will be refunded by the Stardust.
